This was the 2nd morning in Cappadocia. We left early in the morning.

We went to the near mountain side of Cappadocia to see the hot air ballooning. Nope.. I did not take a ride up the hot air balloon if you asked me.

Leaving Cappadocia, we headed to Ankara, the capital of Turkey. It is the 2nd largest city after Istanbul. We had our lunch at the inside main railway station in Ankara.

before heading to Atartuk Mausoleum or Anıtkabir.  It is the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atartuk, the leader of the Turkish War of Independence and the founder and first President of the Republic of Turkey.
