If you were thinking the answer is “sleep”, that’s close to what I am talking about. I think we all dream every day, unless we are just too zonked to do that.
Personally I think that I dream every night, sometimes I can remember the dream fleetingly and then it slips away, lost to my memory.
Interesting since we foray into dreamland every night, wouldn’t it be awesome if we could direct the topic of our dreams every night? Kind of like that Gary Wright song = Dreamweaver
In many of my dreams that I recall I float, I have no idea of what that means, but levitating along not too far above the ground seems a nice way to pass the evening.
Or tobogganing down a hill made of ice cream, but I digress.
Worse of course are those nights when you can’t let go of a theme you don’t like and no matter how absurd it is, it sticks.
Just the other night before I hit the sack, my wife Sue mentioned Jurassic World – and sure enough I dreamt about being chased by dinosaurs all night, which she thought was hilarious in the morning. My suggestion to her was if she is going to plant dream ideas in my head before I go to sleep, and I’m going to be chased; then I want them to be lingerie models.
I wonder if next she thought to herself “dream on! ” 🙂
Perhaps better still are the dreams we remember, where we have a goal and envision how we will get there and then make it happen.
To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe.
Yes, holiday, family trip, success in the best meanings of the word – have a vision, not a dream, and have that vision every day so you live without regret.
Thanks for reading, and I look forward to any comments, or feedback.
Love the leaping dolphins in the Cool Change video — will see this scene now every time I hear the song :)) Thanks for the visual!

I dream and there is nothing better than waking up in the morning and trying to grab onto the thoughts and feelings I had in my dreams before they fade away. And the Little River Band…wow, I haven’t heard this song in such a long time 🙂
Cheers ~
