Moving forward. Sometimes an event happens that changes our lives. We can’t help but revisit the event as if we could change it but we know it is done, history now in a sense. No matter how unfair or unjust, we must let go and move forward, for ourselves.
“There’s an important difference between giving up and letting go.” ~Jessica Hatchigan
1. Recognize that we have a choice
Whenever we get stuck in the past, most likely it is because we are being bombarded by intrusive thoughts. These intrusions appear as regret, anger, hatred, resentment or sadness. When we get caught by this web of negativity, it is extremely difficult to remember that we have a choice. We can choose to break free from this cycle by realizing that each thought has an energetic value. Negative thoughts chain us to past memories only to weaken us.

Yes, I’m glad you liked it.
What all my mother did to me, I do not hate her. I dont dwell on it much. But when something comes on tv with abusive things, it will trigger some. So I change the channel.
The only thing different in my life now is the mental/emotional abuse daily. And being ignored. But after many years of that I should be used to it. Last 5 years have been much worse. But I cannot do anything about it.
I have a big service dog and lanlords dont like them over 20 or 30 pounds anymore. Even though the law.says you are allowed your service animal.
I bang my head on the wall ( well not literally..but I feel like it sometimes ) because people STILL do not get it.
” run to a womens shelter!!!” Sure. Where am I going to put my dog????
“Oh well some have kennels. ” my dog sleeps next to me because of my condition. And..he has seperation anxieties from being stolen and beaten.

That’s what many think.
Should I ?
Should I dump him with his sad eyes looking at me?
He looks so depressed.
And just say like others, ” well…he’s just a dog.”
Maybe I should be inhumane and do that. Leave him with someone who doesn’t do anything with him. And talks about putting him down. He has said that a few times.
It’s probably just a matter of time before he really does that. And all I can do is watch it happen.
Do you see the predictament im In?
Sadly, many still will not.
Believe me, I have searched for all options. I haven’t found any.
Yes, I have to plan my life. Around my husband.
And everyone HAS to be quiet when he decides to take a nap.
I don’t know what real normal Is much anymore.
Thank you for your comment. . I hope that you will find heartfelt peace in the future and I am saddened by the pain you have experienced.
