Skaha lake at 6 am last week, cool but calm. The lake is so reflective sometimes.

I thought it was crazy expensive at the time. Who would pay 89 cents for a burger? I think when I started there i was earning 1.60 per hour but after a few weeks it went up to 2.10. Plus I often made a 1.00 a tip and I saved my paycheque and lived off my tips so I could save up for my first car. Mind you I worked two shifts a week usually so I had 15 dollars a week, I mean how could you spend all that?

Thanks Jane, it is special to me. When I was a child my Dad brought us to this valley to go tenting. Those were carefree days as childhood is supposed to be. Now I can drive by the campground and remember those days, and simpler times.

I wanted to share more of the lake but decided to make it a mix. Thank you Sandra, you would enjoy walking along the lake when it is like that. I saw an osprey as it flew right over my head that morning. ♥
