Where does time go? – Part 3 of 4

Welcome back to “Life and Random Thinking” – I decided to write sequels to the first post with the name “Where Does Time Go?

I decided this was essential because I asked for comments on three topics in my first post, and I should explain my thoughts.

  1. You can’t live in the past.
  2. Delinquents come in all ages.
  3. Comfort zone – place to avoid.

Thank you friends for your comments on the above topics, each one represents some thoughts I have had about blogs.  – David ♥

Delinquents come in all ages.

Word of the day: Ageismprejudice or discrimination on the grounds of a person’s age.

Stereotyping happens all the time.

I have been guilty of stereotyping, not continuously, but time to time, and my pet peeves are inconsiderate drivers, rude people, and littering. I am sure there is more to the list, but I digress.

I suppose my revelation, obvious to you, is that people of all ages are guilty of being human, and besides broad brush stereotyping is plain unfair.

In rumination I am glad there are people of all ages, and backgrounds to celebrate.

Diversity of ages, foods (oh yeah!), and people are like the wide range of flowers and grasses in my yard to celebrate.

Now and then a forehead slap to myself is just the right medicine. ♥

Watch your thoughts, they become words.

Watch your words; they become actions.

Watch your actions; they become habits.

Watch your habits; they become character.

Watch your character; it becomes your destiny. – Lao-Tze

Love that quote! Everything starts with a thought and that’s why we need to work on making sure our thoughts aren’t harmful/negative.

Thank you so much Shweta, we enjoy so much as the plants grow, blossom and flower. It’s time now for peaches but I don’t have that tree. My plums will be ready in a month. I love watching the sunflowers grow and the bees dance around them when they flower. – Hugs David

I so agree that we need to be careful about painting people with a broad brush. Do we know why they did what they did? What are they going through on this particular day or season? Can you really attribute something to a whole group of people? Are the words “never” and always” really the right words for the situation?
