I woke up to rain this morning, and although my plans for the day are changed; the rain is very welcome.
The earth and the air are being refreshed, and our new plantings are being watered.
Today’s pictures are recent ones and I added captions for you.
Best wishes to you. Thank you for visiting – David

We have planting lots of flowers, herbs and vegetables in our yard. The cherry tree has blossomed and there were lots of bees so cherries expected in early July. The plum tree also blossomed but not as much but will have fruit in August. I liked those plants in the picture because even when the flower is gone the leaves look so nice and sort of like the Canadian Maple Leaf. = Thank you Ayesha for visiting- David

Glad to know that the rains have made an appearance. We had a rather heavy downfall today evening.

The rain often “skips” over the valley. Heavy rainfall is something different than what we have here, usually it is a light drizzle for a few hours or much less. Last week there was a little rain at the north end (5 km away) and nothing at my house at all. – David

Ohhh! I’m sorry to hear that. But drizzling would be quite pleasant indeed. Heavy downpours are quite unpleasant, especially when you get caught outside without preparation!

Won’t be long now I guess. Ginza Japanese restaurant is finally going to reopen, it looks like maybe a week or so from now. Not sure of course if you ever went there. I appreciate that you recognize the photos and enjoy seeing “home”. – David

I love all the photos and the captions, no more being a foot model. 🙂 I have my garden in and my goal is to stay ahead of the weeds this year. Have a great day David.

Thank you, It is a beautiful valley, I am fortunate. I get nervous when I hear you talking about tornadoes especially while you are living in your RV. Please find safe shelter when you hear those broadcasts. – David
