I need my coffee in the mornings, and maybe you are alike. When we roll ourselves from unconsciousness, look around in the morning in a bewildered daze; it’s the aroma of coffee drafting in from the kitchen that kicks into gear my memory cells.
The rest of my day, especially weekends, it is tea that I crave. Herbal tea before sleep, and various types of green tea the rest of the day. Tea must be a word that means hot drink, and one of the reasons I enjoy tea is because it is simple. Tea doesn’t require creamers, no one takes a spoon and draws a design into the top, and your digestive system loves you!
Tonight I am making another simple hot drink. Inspired by a local businessman, I am making ginger and honey tea. A lady on my street used to make hot ginger and lemon tea for me, now I understand it’s health benefits, plus it satisfies my sweet tooth!

Feel full, and keep yourself resistant to colds this winter with simple hot drinks, hot tea, herbals teas, and maybe when the wind is battering against the windows, try some delicious ginger tea! [and a thrilling book!]
And don’t forget to laugh out loud every chance you can!
