You naturally agree if I ask you whether you want to succeed. Naturally, and easily you agree. But if you have a passion for something then success will automatically follow.
The question is how do I develop a passion for something? What if I want to succeed but my heart isn’t in it? Sherlock Holmes would say “Ah, there’s the rub”.
It has long been an axiom of mine that the little things are infinitely the most important.’
Sherlock Holmes Quote
-A Case of Identity
Then I suppose you must develop a passion or a vision for something that you do have a passion for. If you want to lose weight, but love to eat ~ no passion possibly. But what if you also have a passion for swimming, skiing, yoga, and success would enhance that passion. There you have your key.
You must find your key to passion, your vision of what you love to do, and then the challenge to success will be in your hands. Simply wanting success especially when it involves work or denial requires you replace that wanting with something stronger, like a passion for something you love.
I love it when people have a vision for what they want to succeed, a plan to get there, and a passion that drives them regardless of the hard work. Success is only sweeter when you know you earned it.
