What are you reading these days? Who do you recommend to your reader friends? 

I enjoy relaxing and reading, and yesterday I continued my exploration of a new author, Miranda James – the author of the Cat in the Stacks mysteries.  I have already read two of the series, so far, read one of those books yesterday. 

Excellent short mystery novels, the narrator in the novels is Charlie Harris, the owner of Diesel, the Cat in the Stacks (library books).  Charlie is a widower who along with Diesel, the oversized Maine coone cat happens across homicides and solves them. Diesel is his companion, and the balm that soothes hearts, and opens the doors.  No gushing wounds, and gory details,  warmly written and endearing stories that draw you, the reader, into the books in Athena, Mississippi USA.
