The best things in life start with “ch” and seeing that today is Valentine’s Day – I may partake in one or all three.

Some folks of course do not appreciate either Valentines Day, and I think those people need a hug, a big hug.

When I was knee high and had naps at school none of us kids took Valentines day too seriously. We all had fun and exchanged cheap cheesy bits of paper and had some sweets. You adults with the sour taste in your mouth, learn from the little ones. Eat sweet and talk sweet.

I think Dr. Seuss had it right – we control our own attitude and that is about it in life, so choose to smile and be nice to someone every day.

You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself
any direction you choose.
You’re on your own. And you know what you know.
And YOU are the guy who’ll decide where to go.
