relaxed and in the moment
I was recently on a holiday with my son, and it had many memorable moments. Most sadly will slip away through my fingers like when I try to hold a cup of water in my hand.
Some drops will stay and I will be glad, happy that I stopped with him and we stared out at the sunset over the Gulf of Mexico and just drank it all in together. Our arms over each other’s shoulder, not talking, seabirds swirling and diving before they dove headlong into the calm shore waters.
I am not great at living in the moment. In fact I am terrible at it, and a calm moment usually means I am guiltily thinking of something I intended to do, planned to do, and still am procrastinating on.
Those thoughts creep in.

Can I look now?
There I did it again! Drat.
Still this Dinner in the video would be a memorable evening out and one that maybe for a few seconds you along with me would be distracted enough to live in the moment.
I hope you like it, a lot of people have. I thought of post title that was more scintillating but decided I would let it pass, but I wonder if it would have increased readership. Ha!
Thanks for taking the time, and I hope you are looking forward to some memorable moments.Viva Life’s distractions! May you live a life filled with distractions and memorable moments and carry on with your day smiling!
Glad you had a great time in Mexico.

we were actually just south of Tampa Bay Florida but on the gulf of mexico. Sarasota Florida area, and visited the no. 1 beach in the USA at Siesta Key. Sand like white flour. Look for me there if I go missing.
