Recently the organization responsible for all types of tranplants in my province, British Columbia, celebrated 50 years.
I was suggested by someone to be interviewed as my kidney transplant lasted 31 years, july 1987 to September 2018.
Today my interview was posted online at the Facebook BC Transplant page, I hope you will enjoy reading it.
As always i am grateful for your comments and feedback.

Dave, I think you did a fantastic job expressing yourself and conveying to us the emotional strength that you, Susan and your family must certainly have. Joanne and I hope that another kidney comes available very soon, and that you get another successful 30 plus years. After all, we still need to go fishing. Hugs David, Ken

I agreed to the interview hoping i would do it justice. I am always encouraging others including myself to say when opportunities arise. Now it feels like i have a part-time job with 4 hour hemodialysis runs three times a week. I am fortunate the hospital is near, and I count my blessings it allows my health not to diminish too much.
