Musical Note –

When I was about 14 years old, grade 9 I guess and my parents surprised me with my own record player.  I was pumped, and they gave me my first album, which was one by Elvis Presley.  One of the songs was Always on My Mind.

Elvis sang it well, but I believe it was Willie Nelson who wrote it, and his version is classic.

And maybe I didn’t hold you
All those lonely, lonely times
I guess I never told you
I am so happy that you’re mine
Little things I should have said and done
I just never took the time
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind

  2. I’m wondering what all these scoundrels are going to do with all that toilet paper they’re hoarding when the hoarded bananas rot and they get hungry?

  4. One of my favorite Willie songs. He sings it so effortlessly. Love his easy going style.

I won’t tell you who I think is a scoundrel, but he used to be on twitter a lot and now is on TV all the time, saying stuff that just solidifies my opinion of him. Here’s to your health Dave.

People are practicing social distancing with anyone who does not live in their household. Although I bet some people dating probably consider that an exception. Thanks Sheree for your concern but in my small city, we are being very careful as there is an aged population who retired here. So far everything is going pretty well here. – Thank you for your interest in my blog. I appreciate your response and any feedback.

  8. The pictures are beautiful. And that front yard oh my hoe I love a manicured yard. All my children life we did word of the day. I’d receive the email, which I still do today, and then I’d text message my children and my ex and we’d all have to use the word in a sentence so this brings back so many memories. My ex husband is a scoundrel.
