Room to Bloom

Flower, herb, and vegetable seeds were started

inside a few weeks ago and  it was time for them to leave home and grow on their own (as in a garden bed).

My good neighbour assisted and using his trailer to delivery soil  to bolster a new garden bed. Now we have two garden beds in the backyard.

Some of the new soil went into planters, and we have a variety of planters in the yard. Another six planters in the front yard on the balcony.

This year a few of these boxes have a just a few plants so they can spread or as my son said ” Room to Bloom.

Room to Bloom is a wonderful concept.

This concept I see in many blogs, including these three examples.

  • Some bloggers have made huge living changes to bloom.
  • Some bloggers have children who are starting to bloom and the parents are giving them room ( as in encouraging them in university).
  • I know of one blogger who is retiring and will soon have more time for growth, and blooming. (book writing, which I think is awesome)

I think when I heard this phrase I thought of how people and plants are always changing, growing and that involves space and encouragement. – David

Now a volleyball video

– three minutes – how often do you hear a commentator say the words “he paints with his face“?

You will hear those words here. – I am looking forward to hearing that you loved this. – David

  1. “I think when I heard this phrase I thought of how people and plants are always changing, growing and that involves space and encouragement. – David” Hmm this is so true. I think I’m in that season now. I need room to bloom spiritually.

“three minutes – how often do you hear a commentator say the words “he paints with his face“?” Not quite often but now that you put it that way, I can see how it lines up truthfully haha 😀 😂
God bless and keep you. Blessings and peace to you!

Volleyball is an excellent sport to watch. Using your face is highly unusual especially as much as he did. I personally am not sure that the video is actually true but I could be wrong. But the guy is awesome

I love Room to Bloom this can have so many meanings. I always plan to start those little seedlings inside. I did it several years ago and enjoyed watching them grow. It was really exciting to transplant them outside when the time came. We have such warm weather here it is fairly easy to grow early in the year but I always remember those little seedlings. I will definitely have to do that next year. Take care my friend.

  10. Our vegetable garden is underway. Some things have been planted and are already flourishing, like lettuce. Others are still seedlings waiting for transplanting. Spent 90 minutes pulling weeds today in an overgrown part of our yard, to make room for new growth. It’s what I love best about spring 🙂
