Woke up this morning to blue skies, birds chasing one another outside my window and Jane’s pictorial tour of Canada.
There are many photos here that I like and that I want to investigate and one of the Okanagan that is the valley just a few minutes south of my humble hut.
I live in the South Okanagan. BC. I enjoy reading, exercise, toastmasters. spending time with my son, my daughter, & her husband , and my patient wife.
I try to respond personally to every comment on my blog, and in this way I hope to get to know my readers a little bit and and am able to thank readers for their encouragement on what they liked and suggestions on what they would like to see me try in order to improve.
Thanks Bob, – so excellent to get a message from you. I will look into the links on the blog and hopefully fix them. I appreciate you telling me. Stay well and Hi ! to Karen for me pretty please. – David
Absolutely true Linda. Canada is so big and I have never been to the Maritimes or the Yukon. I do like exploring my own Okanagan valley and finding quiet still spots along the lake – today I heard a loon call twice! It made me so happy, and I was just sitting there with enjoying the quiet with my son. It was perfect to me. – David
Hi Krystal, we are fortunate and although I haven’t seen as much of Canada as I would like; perhaps I will get more opportunity in the time ahead. I smiled seeing your comment, it was a big smile!
I enjoyed the post and pictures very much. Thanks for directing us to it.

Hope you are doing well Dave, I’m still kicking so life is good. I couldn’t get your link to work, but no big deal. Nice to hear from you.

Amazing tour. I imagine there are a lot of these places that life long residents of Canada have not visited.

I too find as much pleasure in the little things in my home surroundings as in splashy trips.
