Grasping for the Answer

Africa is a cat who works hard every day, it just doesn”t show. Now she is exhausted.

Thank you for your interest in my blog.

Today I have a question and I need your help to know the answer.

I know you have other things to do in your life

besides reading blog posts. I am worrying that I might lose your interest in my blog if I am posting too often.

Right now I try not to blog every day, I often take weekends off and don’t blog every day between Monday to Friday.

There are a few reasons I don’t blog every day.

I hope that when you see I have written a new post; I am hopeful that your reaction is:

Cool (or something similar) – what’s it about? followed by click, read, comment (and maybe even share) – Okay maybe that’s reaching? I’m not J.R.R. Tolkien.

I hope you are not thinking :

What already? Too much already! Doesn’t he have a life? I sure do! followed by unsubscribe or assigning to SPAM.

8 Specific Actions We can Take

I have been inspired by many wonderful blogs I read to consider how I would be supportive in the fight against oppression.

This morning as the light rains fall my mood is thoughtful and I was fortuitously pointed toward this blogging post by Cynthiaseyes.com.

Cynthia shares some ideas on how I can, we can take some specific actions.

I believe Racism, or oppression is not specific to one country or continent. In my opinion it is a condition that exists worldwide.

As I write this I am reminded also of the oppression and domestic violence against women around the world. I think the spotlight needs to shine on that oppression also.

June 8,2020-Tongue tied almost

I had to confess yesterday

that I went into the yard to take pictures and my thumb went crazy. I felt like it was too many pictures for one post so I divided the pictures into backyard, frontyard, and the balcony. Today is the balcony pictures.

A few years ago, my son bought six balcony planters and he has them lined up on the balcony. When I sit in the house I can look out the picture windows and see the colourful results of his green thumb.

I hope you will enjoy the balcony pictures.

Garden Green June 8, 2020 – Front Yard

Scattered Showers

yesterday meant the hills will stay green and I went a tad overboard with photos in my yard resulting in a three-day post series.

I divided the photos into front yard, back yard, and front balcony. Front yard today. Most photos have captions. ♥

plants include cactus (yellow), lavender (purple), oregon grape, lily (just planted at bottom) and tall grasses in back.

we have lots of this plant, love the flame. I think we planted 20 ! in orange, red, gold, and yellow.

Silent Sunday June 7, 2020-Backyard

Scattered Showers

today mean the hills will stay green and the creeks will continue to gush into the lakes that line the Okanagan Valley north to south. A perfect day to show the green in my yard.

I previously posted a picture of cherry blossoms on my tree but today I will showcase plants and flowers in my yard/garden.

I realize now that I was too enthusiastic in my photo taking so I will divide the photos into front yard, back yard, and front balcony. Backyard today. Most photos have captions. ♥
