I was in Vancouver over the last weekend. We had a quick trip and it was nice, and the weather was great especially the morning we left when we visited English Bay. When you are right down by the Burrard Street bridge on the sand, you have a ongoing parade of boats of all kinds, tugs, yachts, paddle boats, kayaks and sailboats. A lovely, and live slideshow of sorts.
Speaking of slideshows..
When we visited my parents I was endowed with a special gift that they had built for me. It is an album of photos from my birth to my teens, all kinds of pictures and knick knacks including wristbands. The wristband from my birth (4 lbs 7 oz ) to when I was in Burnaby General hospital after being knocked unconscious; I was bikeriding at night and flipped over my handlebars after hitting a soccer post laid across the road. I don’t remember a thing, except I woke up and I had missed my birthday!
I noticed in the picture of the whole family out front the ?? house that your parents had nice shoes but made the boys wear crocheted booties. This must have been terrible. Now you have a huge collection of shoes (but not as big as mine). Ian
